Why Continuous-Filament Polyester Actually Matters

Here’s what most buyers don’t get told: the thing that determines whether a wipe stays lint free isn’t the brand or the packaging. It’s whether the fiber is continuous or chopped.

Cheaper wipes are often made from short, staple fibers bound together — every cut edge and every fold is a place where a loose fiber end can break free. Keep it sealed until you’re ready to use it — a lint free wipe sitting out exposed to ambient particulate defeats the purpose before it even touches a surface. Don’t carry the same wipe across different zones or steps; contamination travels with the wipe.
