Sterilization tape, also known as autoclave tape or Chemical indicator tape, is an essential tool used to provide visual confirmation that items or surfaces have been subjected to a specific sterilization process.

Sterilization tape is a specially designed adhesive tape that changes colour or displays specific markings when exposed to certain sterilization methods to indicate whether a specific temperature has been reached. Autoclave tape works by changing colour after exposure to temperatures commonly used in sterilization processes, typically 121°C in a steam autoclave.

Jashmine Group offers sterile permanent pens and markers are produced with low sodium ink and designed with a special polypropylene -barrel to limit particle generation. This special ink is quick- drying, water and non-taxi alcohol based resistant. Sterile materials are gamma irradiated.
